Help Together Foundation, a non-profit organization was registered under Indian trusts act 1882 in March 2019. The organization is working since the day of its registration across various districts of J&K mainly in Pulwama, Anantnag, Srinagar and Budgam. Help Together Foundation is a group of social work professionals working for the development of children, youth, women and other unprivileged sections of society. Our strategy is to build momentum on local levels for social, economic and environmental justice, driven by people living in poverty and exclusion.
In practice, this means working closely with people living in poverty and exclusion, civil society organizations, social movements and supporters. Together, we organize programs at grass roots, provide emergency relief and campaign for issues such as women empowerment, child rights and rights of the unprivileged sections of society.
Our Interventions:
Help Together Foundation has been actively contributing towards society since a year now. HTF has directly worked with children enrolled in government schools of District Anantnag and Pulwama by providing them with orientations of child rights and protection. HTF closely works with the leading Organizations. HTF has organized various programs in District Pulwama for children on ending child sexual abuse. HTF has also organized various workshops on Disability in various districts of Kashmir division.
During recent pandemic of Covid-19 we extended our help towards various communities by volunteering with many organizations. We provided emergency response to many needy families by availing them with hygiene kits as well as ration kits. We reached to around 1200 families directly and indirectly. More than 550 families were provided dry ration and hygiene kits during this pandemic.
HTF is closely working with district administration as well. We have worked in creating mass awareness and sensitization during recent pandemic.
